This feature lets investigators easily capture:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">How a particular app or screen appears to the user<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Data that may not be included in a backup <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Textual content of any screenshots which is automatically extracted with Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for text search during an investigation<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<span style=\"background-color: transparent; font-size: 18px;\">Digital investigators have the option to take screenshots using the Mobile Search Profiles in the Scan Screen which backs up the screenshots for processing later. The short video below demonstrates these investigative capabilities that include the OCR of screenshot evidence.&nbsp;<\/span><br><video width=\"100%\" controls>\n  <source src=\"https:\/\/4330725.fs1.hubspotusercontent-na1.net\/hubfs\/4330725\/Digital%20Forensic%20Screenshots%20with%20OCR%20for%20Mobile%20Devices.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\">\n<\/video>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 24px;\"><span style=\"color: #038d9f;\"><strong>Choose Screenshots from the Home Screen<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If a device is already connected you can select the device here, if it is not the device you wish to select you can access the Add Phone wizard on the function toolbar to help you connect the device. If no device is connected, the wizard will automatically start and you can choose the type of phone you wish to connect.<\/p>\n<p>Once connected, select proceed and the details of the connected mobile device are shown in the lower left corner along with the screenshot group name and the screenshot name followed by a sequential number.&nbsp; If you don&#8217;t want to change these, you can just use the defaults.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><span style=\"color: #038d9f;\">Speed Your Investigation with Screenshot Groups<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you decide to create screenshot groups, it helps to separate screenshots into distinct groups for later processing. You can also add comments to individual screenshots which you can use to search and filter later on.
